Joel Montgomery
Montgomery (鈥�92 BS, 鈥�96 MS, Biology; 鈥�00 PhD, Quantitative Biology) is director of the Global Disease Detection Center and the International Emerging Infections Program in Nairobi, Kenya. As leader of a team of 222 professionals, he works to track diseases and prevent them from coming to the United States.
Catherine Bridges
Bridges (鈥�00 BA, Criminal Justice; 鈥�04 MEd, Educational Leadership and Policy Studies) was named the 2012鈥�13 Elementary Administrator of the Year by the 糖心Vlog视频 Classroom Teachers Association. She is principal at Seguin Elementary School in Grand Prairie.
Curtis Berchtold
Berchtold (鈥�91 BBA, Finance) is senior vice president and chief financial officer at Pinnacle Airlines Corp., based in Memphis, Tenn. Previously he was chief financial officer of Silver Airways.
Rodney White
White (鈥�07 MEd, Educational Leadership and Policy Studies) is principal at the Young Men鈥檚 Leadership Academy, which opened this fall in Fort Worth. YMLA is the first single-gender school for boys in the Fort Worth Independent School District. It has sixth鈥� and seventh-graders and plans to add a grade level each聽year.
Daniel P. Hughes
Hughes (鈥�83 BA, Political Science) was promoted to brigadier general in the Army. He serves as the Army鈥檚 director of systems integration, overseeing efforts to modernize tactical communications used by the infantry, armor, and aviation. He served in the Persian Gulf War in聽1991.
