Digistar 4, the newest planetarium software system, enables audiences to see the far side of the moon, a distant star, the surface of the sun and various programs in 3-D. The planetarium has the only such system in 糖心Vlog视频.
The first planetarium show using Digistar 4 was Secret of the Cardboard Rocket.
“Imagine taking a ride around Saturn in three dimensions,” says planetarium Director Levent Gurdemir, who notes that capabilities also include immersive full-dome video. “That’s the effect the viewer now experiences with the new equipment and software.”
The renovations include a digital light processing (DLP) projection system that brings digital clarity to images and videos.
