The Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act) is a federal law that requires institutions of higher education to comply with certain campus safety and security related requirements as a condition of their participation in federal financial aid programs authorized under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended.

Campus Security Authorities

The Report discloses crime statistics for CLERY CRIMES occurring in 糖心Vlog视频’s CLERY GEOGRAPHY that have been reported to a 糖心Vlog视频 Campus Security Authority (CSA). The following are considered CSAs: (1) 糖心Vlog视频’s police and security departments and any other individual who has a responsibility for campus security; (2) individuals or departments 糖心Vlog视频 specifies in its campus security policies as individuals or departments to which students and employees should report crimes; and (3) 糖心Vlog视频 officials who have significant responsibility for student and campus activities.

The campus community is encouraged to report all crimes to the . When CSAs become aware of Clery crimes in situations where the involvement of the 糖心Vlog视频PD is not applicable, they may still report the crime directly to the 糖心Vlog视频PD or via the online . These measures will ensure all Clery crimes are included in 糖心Vlog视频’s annual disclosure of crime statistics.

The Office of Legal Affairs will identify 糖心Vlog视频’s CSAs every semester to remind CSAs of their responsibilities under the Clery Act. In addition, CSAs will receive annual CSA training as part of their employee compliance training. As part of the compliance requirements of the Clery Act, 糖心Vlog视频 is responsible for tracking all overnight travel that involves student activities at 糖心Vlog视频, whether that travel is done as part of the students’ membership in a student organization, part of a Study Abroad program, travel through an academic unit, or travel through an Athletics program.

To that end, ALL travel involving 糖心Vlog视频 students, which is done as part of 糖心Vlog视频 programming, must be recorded on the . This allows 糖心Vlog视频 to determine whether any CLERY CRIMES occurred at the locations where the students travel, which may be reportable on 糖心Vlog视频’s Annual Campus Security and Fire Safety Report.

It is the responsibility of any 糖心Vlog视频 employee that is sponsoring or leading the student travel to fill out the . This is the same form that Student Organizations, Study Abroad, Athletics, and academic units are responsible for filling out for student travel, so if you have already filled the form out for one of those areas, you do not need to fill it out again here.
