MAVS GO GREEN
Mavs Go Green is a student organization that focuses on raising awareness about environmental issues through social events, panel discussions, and other student-led initiatives. The Office of Sustainability has worked with Mavs Go Green on many different projects and events including different sustainability-related art contests, plant giveaways, and past Earth Day Fairs. This is a great student organization for students that are interested in meeting like-minded peers.
THE ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE CLUB
The Environmental Science Club was started in 2021 to serve as an organization to connect Environmental Science (and adjacent) students together. They also aim to promote sustainable practices on campus, lead environmentally-sustainable volunteer projects, and inviting guest speakers about environmental issues/developments. Some projects that they have led included tagging native plants, removing invasive species, picking up trash at local parks, and tree plantings. All 糖心Vlog视频 students are invited to join.
