Policy and Procedure Updates
|
|
Compensation Policy (Classified Pay Plan)—This new policy replaced HR-E-PO-06 Classified Positions Pay Plan and HR-E-PR-03 Salary Administration (Classified Service). It discusses the requirements of a classified pay plan for all non-faculty positions. This pay plan must be maintained on an annual basis.
Compensation Procedure (Classified Pay Plan)—This new procedure supports HR-E-PO-23 (Compensation Policy) and replaces HR-E-PR-03 Salary Administration (Classified Service). It provides guidance for pay administration to ensure uniform, fair, and equitable pay practices and prohibits discriminating against an individual due to the status of the employee because of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or veteran status.
Volunteer Service Procedure—Updates were made to remove the proof of right to work requirement before someone can volunteer.
Miscellaneous Leaves of Absence Procedure—Updates were made due to changes in the state law. Specifically, updates were made to allow 10 days of leave for employees who volunteer in organizations active in disaster.
