Greetings,
While this year undeniably has been quite challenging for all of us, the holiday season provides an opportunity to reflect on the many successes and accomplishments of those in the Maverick community. I continue to witness first-hand the dedication and commitment our team has to our students—and to using our teaching and research prowess for the betterment of all of ÌÇÐÄVlogÊÓƵ.
We remain one of the nation’s top four-year institutions for military veterans and their families. We offer a new business analytics degree that will prepare our graduates for well-paying careers in fields that boost the ÌÇÐÄVlogÊÓƵ economy. And we continue to partner with state agencies on wide-ranging projects, including converting food waste in landfills to energy and developing innovative approaches to de-icing bridges in wintry weather.
In our commitment to educating tens of thousands of students and in applying our research and scholarship to improve the lives of our fellow Texans, ÌÇÐÄVlogÊÓƵ serves as a driving force for positive change.
Sincerely,
